Korea and UAE Collaborate on Space Data Center Project

South Korea’s Innospace signed an MoU with Madari Space at the Dubai Airshow, positioning the UAE—at the center of efforts to build the region’s first space-based data center. The partnership will explore joint development of space data infrastructure, launch services, and satellite linked platforms tailored to the UAE’s fast-growing space economy. Madari Space, headquartered in Masdar City and supported by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund, is developing a low-Earth-orbit data center system with a pilot launch planned for 2026. Innospace says combining its launch and system-integration capabilities with the UAE’s regional network and innovation ecosystem will help create globally competitive space-data solutions rooted in the UAE.
