South Korea’s Innospace signed an MoU with Madari Space at the Dubai Airshow, positioning the UAE—at the center of efforts to build the region’s first space-based data center. The partnership will explore joint development of space data infrastructure, launch services, and satellite linked platforms tailored to the UAE’s fast-growing space economy. Madari Space, headquartered in Masdar City and supported by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund, is developing a low-Earth-orbit data center system with a pilot launch planned for 2026. Innospace says combining its launch and system-integration capabilities with the UAE’s regional network and innovation ecosystem will help create globally competitive space-data solutions rooted in the UAE.
