Two UAE firms are pushing forward with sovereign cloud services to keep sensitive data within the country and under national regulations. Abu Dhabi’s Space42, alongside Core42 and Microsoft, announced the nation’s first sovereign mobility cloud to support autonomous vehicles, traffic management, fleet operations, and digital mapping. Meanwhile, e& enterprise unveiled the next generation of its OneCloud platform, powered by Oracle, offering over 200 services tailored to organizations requiring strict data localization. These moves highlight the UAE’s push to secure digital sovereignty, boost innovation in mobility and AI, and position itself as a global leader in trusted cloud infrastructure.
